A remarkably fine pair of 18th century English figures, modelled in lead, by the celebrated Sir Henry Cheere (about 1730). Height 4 feet. In superb preservation - extremely rare. Formerly the propriety of the late Lieut-Col. the Right Honourable Sir W .H. P. Carington, P. C., K. C. V. O., K. C. B., and recently removed from the beautiful old gardens of Burfield Lodge, Old Windsor. Pair, £350 the pair.]
