The ice in the Jade Bowl appears to me like my place, and my own heart is like it-pure. The breeze is stealing quietly in through the blinds; the moon's rays shine through window embroideries; like the perfume of flowers the incense smokes in the morning tripod; as under the lotus-shaped lamp I select my book.
