Teapot c. 1775 the Decoration is Intended to Commemorate the Electoral Struggles of 1768 and 1772 in the House of Commons, between John Wilkes, a Liberal MP, and William Murray, Lord Chief of Justice from 1766 Until 1778, and a Pillar of the Establishment. John Wilkes Was a Noted Champion of Personal Liberty and Supporter of the American Revolution Cause. Illustrated in Page 232 of "Oriental Export Market Porcelain" by G. Godden.
